The Super Senior Tennis League is the premier men's senior tennis league in the desert. In fact it has been around for almost 15 years! They currently have teams associated with the Mission Hills Country Club, Chaparral Country Club, Rancho La Quinta, Deep Canyon Country Club, and Rancho Las Palmas. Each Tuesday there are three 60's and two 70's matches. Most all players are NTRP 4.0 or better, and they play according to age rather than numerical ratings. Teams will play each other twice during the season, and there is a 6 team end of season playoff for the "CUP!" Play begins November 22, and last through the end of March, 2006.
